BSN to PhD Admission Criteria
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing from a nationally accredited program with a minimum nursing GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Graduate Record Examination minimum scores of 600 or above on each of the verbal and quantitative sections. Analytic section is required.
- Eligibility for RN licensure in Florida .
Students may request special review by the College of Nursing Graduate Admissions Committee if they believe they are strong candidates for the accelerated BSN to PhD option but do not fully meet all criteria.
The College holds an orientation to doctoral education and the UF doctoral program each February for applicants as well as potential applicants.
