Faculty research is focused in the areas of aging, cancer, health policy, and women's/family health. The College's Office of Research Support offers outstanding mentorship and assistance for new researchers. An active faculty practice plan supports interdisciplinary work and leadership in advanced nursing practice.

The College of Nursing is seeking applications from health policy nurse researchers for the Dorothy M. Smith Term Professorship, a tenure-track position with future potential to seek an Endowed Chair.

Assistant/Associate Professor
Department of Women’s, Children’s, and Family Nursing

(Req. #0704377) Requirements: Master’s degree in nursing with preparation as a Family Nurse Practitioner and national certification required. A doctoral degree in nursing (PhD or DNP) or a related field and teaching experience are preferred. Those applying for tenure track, should have an identified research focus and at least a beginning level record of scholarly work; those applying for clinical track, should demonstrate excellence in clinical work and at least a beginning record of clinical scholarship. Candidates must be eligible for FL ARNP licensure. Rank and salary are commensurate with education and experience.
